Unlimited Resources Corporation currently has for sale all the major equipment (components) to custom build a complete whole tire (passenger/ semi-truck) processing system.  We have custom built this system with the capability to produce several different size products, giving you the opportunity for multiple revenue streams.  Note: all this equipment has already been refurbished or is in its final stages of being refurbished and is currently in our inventory.

  1. Two inch nominal tire chips (TDF)- The plant that we have configured would have the capability of producing around 6-8 tons using the Raptor 162 shredder, in conjunction with a classifier/screener. This machine is powered by a 300 h.p. hydraulic power pak run by 300 h.p. electric motors.  Tire chips sell for $25 to $45 a ton, depending on your area.
  2. ¾”- ½” tire nuggets or mulch or 1” TDF- The plant we have configured would give you the capability of producing around 7,000-8,000 lbs per hour of this product that would be 80-85% wire free. We would accomplish this by using a Granutech/ Saturn model 80 Grizzly with either ¾” or ½” screens, or a 1 inch screen installed.  This machine is powered by a 300 h.p. electric motor.  This landscape material can be sold for $125 to $175 a ton.  The 1” TDF is selling for about $50 per ton, and it is expected to be mostly free of bead wire.
  3. ¼” – 3/16” mulch- This portion of the plant will have the capability of producing 3,500 to 4,000 lbs per hour of mulch that will be 97% wire free.  We would accomplish this by using a granulator with either a ¼” or 3/16” screens installed.  This machine is powered by a 250 h.p. electric motor.  This playground material sells for $200 to $250 a ton.
  4. 1/8 inch to 10 mesh minus crumb rubber- The plant that we have configured would have the capability of producing around 3,500-4,000 lbs per hour of this size product that would be virtually wire free. Crumb rubber that is about 10 mesh sells for $200 to $220 a ton, and smaller crumb, like 30 to 40 mesh, sells for over $300 a ton. 

We would produce this smaller material by using a 24” X 32” double roll cracker mill powered by a 300 h.p. electric motor.  You would be able to screen off several different sizes of crumb at this point with the addition of a multiple deck Rotex screen if you had the market for a certain particular size of crumb.  The price listed does not include the extra screening, only what is on the drawing.

 To achieve making all these different sizes of products many different pieces of peripheral equipment are required such as belt conveyors, auger conveyors, surge bins, magnets, and aspiration equipment.  All the material moving equipment will be custom built for you to fit your application and your building. 

All this equipment, whether it is a shredder, granulator, conveyor or auger, has all required safety considerations for a safe work environment.  The processing equipment has emergency stops, and there are covers and guards on the moving parts to minimize the opportunity for an accident.  In addition there is a dust collection system to greatly minimize the dust in the plant.

We are one of the few, if not the only, used equipment dealer that completely refurbishes equipment to “like new” condition and in many instances even better than new.  When we rebuild equipment we take every bolt out and check over the parts.  We replace any part that shows any signs of wear with either new or rebuilt parts. 

All the equipment for this project will either be refurbished or new, with the refurbished equipment having a 60 day limited warranty on the major components of the equipment, not including wear parts and exclusive of misuse and abuse.  In addition to a 60 day limited warranty, we do offer service after the sale.  We are always available by phone, and will gladly answer any questions about the equipment. 

Our price includes us sending technicians to your location to set up the plant (in North America), we will also train your personnel in the maintenance and operation of the plant.  Proper maintenance on these machines is critical to the overall operation and life expectancy of the machines.  

At the price of $2,000,000 we will set the plant up here at our location to work out any issues and test run each piece of equipment, then we will mark the equipment and take the equipment apart.  (A plant with a crackermill that can produce a good amount of volume of 30-40 mesh will run $2,600,000). We will also load the equipment onto your trucks.  And like I mentioned in the previous paragraph, we will send technicians to your location to oversee the set up of the plant and to train your personnel in the maintenance and operation of the plant (in USA and Canada). 

A plant of this size will require a building that is approximately 100 ft x 200 ft, with at least 22 ft sidewalls. You will need 3 phase, 460/480 volt electric service with 3000 amps.  All the major pieces of equipment will have soft starts to minimize the initial draw on your electric service.  In addition to electric, you will also need a water source, the first two machines have spray bars that put a mist on the cutting chamber.  That is to keep the knives cooled down and also helps with dust control.  Of course we will have a full aspiration system, including cyclones, air locks, custom built ductwork and a blower and dust collector, to fully handle the dust and fluff issue. 

This plant will give you lots of flexibility with the opportunity to develop several revenue streams in case one of your markets goes away.
