We are constantly working with customers who have purchased a piece of equipment from one of our competitors that won’t properly do the job that it was sold to do. Now one of the newest things that were seeing is that many people are purchasing recycling equipment that has been manufactured overseas and a much of it from China. Please beware that much of this equipment is very sub-standard in that it will prematurely wear out. Apparently the quality of the steel that this equipment is manufactured from overseas is not near the quality as is produced here in the USA.

There are a few exceptions to this and here’s a list of the companies that manufacture equipment overseas and we’d heard good things about the equipment that they manufacture. This is the list of outside or overseas manufactures that we would consider to be what we’d call good reputations. Some of them sell all types and makes and models of recycling equipment while others just sell a single line product. Doppstadt, Backhus, Komptech, Van Aarsen, Eldan Recycling, MTB Recycling, and KAHL.

So if you’re considering buying recycling equipment don’t make the mistake that we’ve seen so many other start-up customers make over the past few years and that is to purchase a machine that’s manufactured overseas because it’s a little cheaper on the front end. Then find out that when the machine stops working properly that it can’t be rebuilt because the main core of the machine has eroded away till it can’t be used again. Truly when they say you get what you pay for well this is especially true when it comes to recycling equipment.

Our company strives to see that people buy equipment that will stand the test of time and be around to help them continue to operate for many years to come. As for breakdowns all these machines will need continued maintenance throughout their life spans, but at least with these machines you will have a good core to start with unlike several of the machines that we’ve seen brought in from overseas.
