Our company was started in 1996 by Richard L. Duncan who remains active in the business today. Richard serves as the President of the Corporation as he has since its inception but is actively involved in all the daily activities including working side by side with the employees in the shop on a daily basis. His goal when he started his company was to treat all his customers like he would want to be treated if he was the one buying the equipment. This still remains the main goal of the business today and goes to show how this business has been able to survive in a time period when many other businesses have failed. We take great pride in making sure that our customers are happy with the equipment they purchase from our company. We also make sure that when we sell a person a single piece or a whole package of equipment that it is performing correctly before we consider it a completed sale. If there is a problem we do our best to correct it before we leave. And if necessary we’ve had to change out equipment for other machines to make the equipment do what it is that our customers are needing done.
Our Company, Unlimited Resources Corporation, was started as a little niche business that was to service the Recycling Industry. There was a need for a business such as ours to help re-market specialized pieces of Recycling Equipment that were starting to show up used in the auctions around the country. Many of these pieces of equipment were being sold by auctioneers that had no understanding at all of their value or of the job that they performed. Also many of these pieces of equipment had been funded by leasing companies who needed an outlet to get them re-marketed at the end of lease periods. So Unlimited Resources Corporation was started at this point and has become one of the main players in the re-marketing of many kinds of Recycling Equipment.
Unlimited Resources Corporation has been serving the Recycling Industry now for over 24 years and will soon be celebrating their twenty fifth anniversary. Our Company has predominately been known for all the work that we’ve done in the Scrap Tire Recycling Industry. We sold many individual pieces of Tire Processing Equipment in the beginning and have later begun selling whole complete Tire Recycling Systems. This Industry has allowed our company to grow and prosper to be one of the major players in the field of Scrap Tire Recycling. We couldn’t have done this without our fantastic customer base and the many repeat customers that have allowed us to grow and prosper throughout the years.
Also we’ve been very active in the re-marketing of Recycling Equipment for the processing of all types of Wood Waste. Our Company has sold countless Tub Grinders, Horizontal Grinders, Hammermill Shredders, Trommel Screens and Compost Turners since our inception. We don’t generally keep a large inventory of these items on hand like we do with Tire Recycling Equipment. But we usually do have several Compost Turners as well as a few other Wood Processing items on hand all the time. Of course we always have many individuals who are wishing to sell their pieces of Wood Recycling Equipment so we can broker these items and make a small fee for matching up the buyer and seller of these items.
Our Company has also been involved in selling many other types of Recycling Equipment throughout the years, but these are generally just one time sales or deals and not like are other two main core industries Scrap Tire Recycling and Wood Waste Recycling. Our company prides itself in re-furbishing these two types of equipment here in our shop on a daily basis. Our shop at any time will have several pieces of Recycling Equipment being re-furbished and we welcome visitors coming to see how we take these machines down all the way and rebuild them to perform as good as or better than new. We maintain a very large inventory of Tire Recycling Equipment and are usually in a position to build a whole Scrap Tire Recycling Plant without having to outsource any of the major pieces of equipment from other vendors.
Over the years our company has been through several major business down turns, the first being the 911 attacks on the world trade center which took place in 2001. And for about a two year period after this the banking industry was almost impossible to get interested in working on any kinds of lending deals. The next major down turn was the financial crash of 2008 and this lead to the failure of many banks. And this also took around a two year period to get the banks back to where they were interested in making any loans again. Now we are presently dealing with the Covid 19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
The major difference that we see this time around is that the banks are not the ones keeping deals from happening. It’s everyone’s uncertainty with how the world is going to be affected with this whole endeavor in the end. As most of you have already figured out, the equipment we sell in the Recycling Industry is generally big ticket purchases. And most all these purchases require either banks or leasing companies to finance these kinds of purchases. Our belief is that since the banking industry is still out seeking prospects that this should not be along drawn out affair like we’ve seen in the past couple of down turns.
